I can’t tell you in words how important it is to rest. I’m not talking about just any rest. I’m talking about good quality rest.
I know people’s schedules have impacts on this but I aim for 8 hours every night.
I wake up feeling nice and alert and ready to move.
I know that relaxing and being productive don’t mix but you have to think about it like this.
The brain keeps history of recent thoughts, information, and images. Relaxing helps clear that cache.
We need to decompress our brains regularly, even during the day and sometimes during work.
